The avi-fauna of Corbet region is around 400 species and is the probably one of the best places for birding in India. The birds found around corbet national parks are Small Praticole, Great Thick Knee, River Lapwing, Ashy Crowned Sparrow, Plain Martin, Plumbeous and White Capped Water Redstart, Jungle owlet, Gold fronted leafbird, Himalayan Bulbul, Grey headed canary flycatcher, grey breasted and plain prinias, ume's warbler, Siberian Rubythroat, Pied & Grey Bushcat, Otiental Darter, Black crowned night Heron, wolly necked, Black (W) and Black necked storkd, Ruddy shelduck, Common Merganser, Brahminy Kite, white tailed eagle, Grey headed and lesser Fish Eagle, Oriental hobby, Crested kingfisher, rosy pipit Etc.
